MixCult ist ein in Sankt Petersburg ansässiger 2-Kanal-Radiosender und ein Plattenlabel, das sorgfältig ausgewählte Deep, Minimal, Dub Techno und House Musik auf Vinyl und digital präsentiert. Es beinhaltet auch Vintage-Visuals und Videos aus Russland. Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, den raffinierten Underground-Sound der Musik zu präsentieren, indem es sowohl neue Tracks als auch Perlen aus der Vergangenheit vorstellt.

„Spitzer“. Für jene achtsamen und fürsorglichen Momente, die unseren Geist in die ehrfurchtgebietendsten Zustände versetzen: „Spitzer“, das Drone- und Ambient-Sublabel von Mixcult Records, das einige der tiefsten Zweige des Minimalismus präsentiert.

MixCult is a Saint Petersburg based 2 channels radio station and record label that presents carefully selected Deep, Minimal, Dub Techno and House music on vinyl and digital. It also includes vintage visuals and videos from Russia. Project aims to present the refined underground sound of music by presenting new tracks as well as gems from the past.

Spitzer. For those mindful and care sensitive instants that place our minds to the most awe-inspiring states: “Spitzer”, Mixcult Records’ drone and ambient sublabel featuring some of the deepest branches of minimalism.

Hier wird die Musik von den Residents des Labels gespielt und natürlich von Kirill Matveev, als Hauptdarsteller mit seinem selbstbewussten Statement zum Sound-Konzept seines Labels. Harmonie zwischen Dub, House, Techno und Electronica ist zu erwarten, immer mit dem unverwechselbaren edlen Touch von MixCult.

The Underground side of electronic music, now with a place for MixCult Records – from Saint Petersburg, Russia. This space will feature music from the label’s residents and, of course, from Kirill Matveev as the starring figure with his assertive commentary about his label’s sound concept. Releases auf Harthouse (Frankfurt, Mannheim, Berlin), BluFin Records, Evosonic Records, City of Drums Records, Holy Chaos Records, Global Ambition, Music Man Belgien, OverDrive, Le Petit Prince, u.v.w.

Nr. 1 und Nr. 2 in den UK Underground Dance Charts, Top Ten in den iTunes- und Beatport Charts. Label Inhaber von Suspect Records 1993-1995, seit 2016 von Evosonic Records. Mann hinter Evosonic Radio, 1997 bis 1999 der weltweit einzige Radiosender, der 24 Stunden, 7 Tage die Woche und 352 Tage im Jahr Elektronische Musik spielte. Seit 2015 sendet Evosonic über das Internet. Als Dozent an der VibrA School of DJing unterrichtet er von 2004 bis 2018 Musik Produktion mit Ableton und DJing. Er war Resident DJ im OZ-Stuttgart, Cave Club-Salzburg. Mitinhaber vom Delirium Record Shop, Stuttgart.
