Biografie Kixen

fing 1997 mit dem Auflegen an und hatte nach einigen Jahren der Bar und Club Gigs in Berlin im Jahre 2005 seine erste Residency im Sage Club sowie in dem Club des lokalen Radiosenders FRITZ und im Spindler & Klatt.

Auch mit eigenen Produktionen mit dem im Jahre 2011 gegründeten Duo Jeff & Jessey konnte er einige Erfolge feiern. Dazu gehören unter anderem Releases bei Stil vor Talent. Aktuell ist er  wieder im Studio um neue Releases für 2023 vorzubereiten.

Heute ist er Resident im “Süss. war gestern” und der Bellucci Bar.

Biography Kixen

started DJing in 1997 and after a few years of bar and club gigs in Berlin he had his first residency at Sage Club in 2005 as well as at the club of the local radio station FRITZ and at Spindler & Klatt. He also had some success with his own productions with the duo Jeff & Jessey, which was founded in 2011. This includes releases at Stil vor Talent. Currently he is back in the studio to prepare new releases for 2023.

Today he is resident at „Süss. war gestern“ and the Bellucci Bar.

Geboren und aufgewachsen in Sankt Petersburg, Russland, hat Kirill Matveev bewiesen, dass er einer der raffiniertesten Künstler seines Landes ist. Sein Sound kann alle möglichen Stimmungen durchlaufen, was ihn ideal für das Aufwärmen einer Tanzfläche, frühe Afterhours und Ausbrüche zu Spitzenzeiten macht. Kirill hat eine sehr exquisite Art, musikalische Reisen zusammenzustellen. Sein Hauptaugenmerk liegt darauf, Edelsteine aus Vergangenheit und Gegenwart zu präsentieren, um eine durchdringende Geschichte für den Zuhörer zu schaffen, die viel Raum zwischen den Klängen für eine bessere Wertschätzung lässt.

Seine einfühlsame Vision und Auswahl elektronischer Musik hat ihn zu einem wahren Magneten für sein Publikum gemacht, der seine Vielseitigkeit sowohl als DJ als auch als Produzent unterstreicht. Sein Beitrag als Künstler begann im Jahr 1997 und hält bis heute mit größeren Projekten an.

Kirill ist der Mastermind und CEO von MixCult Records, Radio & Vinyl Store, einem in Sankt Petersburg ansässigen Projekt, das sorgfältig ausgewählte Deep-, Minimal-, Dub-, Techno- und House-Musik aus allen Epochen mit einer großen Auswahl an Vintage-Videos aus Russland präsentiert.

Sein Projekt „MixCult“ hat effizient als eine Einrichtung für künstlerische Manifestation und ein Medium für visionären Output funktioniert, das Underground-Künstlern den Durchbruch zu einem viel breiteren Publikum ermöglicht, das nach unbestreitbarer Qualitätsmusik sucht.

Kirill Matveev ist die Hauptfigur der eher unterirdischen Seite der elektronischen Musik von Ibiza Global Radio, der MixCult Radio Show Sektion. Er kollaboriert mit seinen selbstbewussten Kommentaren über das Soundkonzept seines Labels und Sets von Residents. Er sendet direkt aus Sankt Petersburg, Russland, in die ganze Welt.

Born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Kirill Matveev has demonstrated to be one of the most refined artists in his country. His sound can go through every mood possible, making him ideal for warming up a dance floor, early afterhours and peak time outburst. Kirill has a very exquisite way of assembling musical journeys. His main focus is to present gems from both past and present to create a penetrating storyline for the listener, allowing abundant space between sounds for better appreciation.

His insightful vision and selection of electronic music has led him to achieve true magnetism with his audience emphasizing his versatility as both DJ and producer. His contribution as an artist start in the year 1997 yet held nowadays with bigger projects ahead.

Kirill is the mastermind and CEO of MixCult Records, Radio & Vinyl Store, a Saint Petersburg based project that presents carefully selected Deep, Minimal, Dub, Techno and House music from all epochs with a wide range of vintage videos from Russia.

His project “MixCult” has efficiently operated as an establishment for artistic manifestation and a medium for visionary output, allowing underground artists to break through to a much wider audience that seek for unquestionable quality music.

Kirill Matveev is the starring figure of Ibiza Global Radio’s more underground side of electronic music, MixCult Radio Show section. wurde. Später im Jahr gab ich mein Debüt im Cosmic Club Münster beim Cosmic Rave und wurde danach Resident-DJ im Cosmic Club, wo ich House/Trance/Techno in den Clubnächten und Breakbeats/Drum n Bass bei den Raves auflegte. …. Zum Beispiel Mystic Land 1, 2, 3 usw.

Während ich für den Cosmic Club arbeitete, boten sich mir weitere Gelegenheiten, wie z.B. die Cosmic Club Tour durch Deutschland, bei der ich offizieller DJ für Numark Deutschland wurde und für die ich 1996 auf der Frankfurter Musikmesse und der Love Parade in Berlin auftrat. 1997 gab ich dann mein Debüt für EVOSONIC mit Drum n Bass.

1998 bekam ich die Möglichkeit, für BFBS Deutschland zu arbeiten und Anthems in the Mix zu produzieren, was ich bis 2001 tat. 2002 kehrte ich nach Großbritannien zurück, um Musikproduktion zu studieren und DJ-Skills am Northampton College zu unterrichten. 2005 gründete ich mein eigenes Aufnahmestudio, im April 2019 kehrte ich zu EVOSONIC zurück, um The DnB Dimension zu produzieren und wieder Musikproduktion und Musiktechnologie am Halesowen College zu unterrichten.

„First appearence was Subways Hiltrup Munster in 1992, I appeared occasionally until the club closed in early 1993, later in the year I made my debut for the Cosmic Club Munster at the Cosmic Rave and thereafter became a resident DJ for the Cosmic Club playing House/Trance/Techno on the Club nights and Break beats/Drum n Bass at the Raves…. For example Mystic Land 1, 2, 3 etc.

Whilst working for the Cosmic Club I was presented with other opportunities, For example, Cosmic Club Tour of Germany and I was to become the official DJ for Numark Germany making appearence’s for them at the Frankfurt Music Mess and Love Parade Berlin 1996, from there my Debut for Evo Sonic in 1997 playing Drum n Bass.

1998 saw the opportunity to work for BFBS Germany producing Anthems in the Mix which, I did until 2001. I returned to the UK in 2002 to study music production and teach DJ skills at Northampton College, 2005 set up my own recording studio, April 2019 saw the return to Evo Sonic producing The DnB Dimension and return to teaching Music Production and Music Technology at Halesowen College“
